Mike returned to Wood, Ris &
Hames in 1997 after having been associated with
the firm on two prior occasions beginning in 1987.
Mike maintains a general civil practice emphasizing
real estate and landlord-tenant relations, lease
drafting and negotiations and assisting clients
in the dispositions and acquisitions of commercial
property. He has extensive experience in lease
drafting, negotiations, disputes and workouts
on industrial, office and retail space, and assisting
real estate professionals with contracts, dispositions
and litigation matters. He also represents real
estate professionals in claims, commission disputes
and in actions before various local and state
boards. Mike’s clients range from local
companies to multi-national corporations and institutional
investors. He has presented seminars to various
groups, including BOMA and IREM on leasing and
tenant relation issues, and seminars to real estate
professionals on forms and E&O coverage. Mike
is a native Coloradan, born and raised in the
Denver area.
