recoverable in personal injury actions in Colorado,
including statutory caps, interest, and exemplary damages.
Note that Colorado is a comparative negligence state
with a 50% bar. This means that any negligence of the
plaintiff decreases the damages he or she can collect
by his or her percentage of fault. If the fact-finder
assigns the plaintiff 50% or more of the fault, the
plaintiff is barred from recovering damages from the
defendant.
